9 English - Spelling Words for weeks 1 and 2

Here you go - remember, you must LEARN them, DEFINE them (in your exercise books) and USE them (in a sentence each, in your books).

Every list will include at least one word that is relatively new to you - I call it 'The Unheard Word'.

There are fifteen spelling words this time around because we miss a few days this fortnight, but it will normally be 20 words.

Your definitions and sentences will be due Friday 8th February (both classes).

Have fun!

2013 time, Come on grab your friends...

So ... it's a new year and I can't wait!  If you go back through the very small archive you can see that I started this for my Hospitality class last year as part of an assessment task.  But here's the thing -I thought to myself 'Why not keep using it?'.  I mean, I managed to get an easy to remember URL and I love sharing internetty things with my classes.  Two birds.  One stone.  Bang.*

I will sometimes instruct you to check this blog as part of your homework, but feel free to check back regularly on your own, as something I post for a class other than your own may have relevance to you and be helpful.

It's time to get enthusiastic about this year - I know I already am!

*Disclaimer:  I do not advocate throwing stones at birds.  Or in fact throwing stones at anything. :)

**Also, fair warning - this is probably not going to be the last time I will reference MLP:FIM or Adventure Time.
