Hello everyone!
Because we miss our double lesson this week, your mission is to go to the following website (there are video and diagram instructions) and attempt to create your very own pieces of origami!
Origami Fun
You may choose to just make one, or even all of them (there are lots!). There are also some questions at the bottom of the post that you need to copy and answer in your exercise books. You will need to research the answers to these yourselves.
Please bring one of your completed origami projects to class on Thursday to share, and remember to answer the questions in full sentences. Some information can be found at this site.
Have fun!
Questions
1. When did origami originate?
2. How did it get it's name?
3. Which groups created origami and why?
4. What sorts of shapes did they traditionally make?
5. How where origami designs taught? When did that change and why?
